I would like to do a chart showing the workload for an "identity"
Use - case:
A manager want the see when his employes are without planned activities.
If someone has got documentation for the gantt, could be an example for the input xml.
any help is most wanted

Here is one suggestion. It is a solution we've built in the lab to test some ideas. When the Project Manager sees that one Activity is late, he can click on the Assignment (here to Mr. Tony Norton), and see for the next 12 months, how busy Mr. Norton, plus all alternate individuals are.
This solution was built as a nightly batch job that does a roll-up of all Active Projects and all Activities in those Projects, taking into consideration the current schedules, and does a calculation of the total work versus the number of hours per month in the company calendar. So we have a forecast of how much time is comitted for each person. Next step might be a quick click to open the details for any one person.

Thanks Peter,
That seems like a smart way to do the UI of the gantt.
I should put on some extra buttons for defining the Identity group for which the gantt should be shown
and also a way to assign the Activity.
