Hi All,
I've installed aras innovator in my machine and now i want to set permissions to the folders in TOC for the end users. I do not want a design engineer to see all the folders except MY INNOVATOR and DESIGN folder.
Any hint to configure the same?

Assuming you're logged in as administrator...
From the main menu, select ItemTypes (in Administration).
For each of the items currently visible in the TOC of a design engineer (the ItemTypes, not the folders), you need to open this ItemType. Lock the ItemType, go to the TOC Access tab, limit the access to a identity that doesn't include design engineers (eg. administrators), save, unlock close. Repeat this for all the ItemTypes for which you need to remove access.
The folders will disappear from view if there is nothing in them to access.
