Hello,
I just recently finished installing version 9.3.0. I can successfully log into Innovator from the local server where it is installed using IE 8. But after following the documentation in regards to IE 9 on my Windows 7 machine, I navigate to the website, get a new blank IE window to pop up, and then I get no further. Both empty IE windows remain open without any activity.
I have tried changing from custom to Low security settings in IE 9 to no avail. I haven't seen any other info in documentation or on the forums about this. Does 9.3.0 support IE 9? Any suggestions?
Thank you!

Hello,
regadring hte documentation Aras 9.2 and Aras 9.3 support Internet Explorer 9.
Nevertheless I have the same problem with IE9. Perhaps there is a solution out there ;-))

Hi Jens,
Though Aras does not recommend the solution I am going to give, it worth a try. You can try these setting:
1. Run your website in Compatibility mode.
a. Open Internet Explorer.
b. Click on the Tools Menu Bar (ALT + T) item. (See screenshot below)
c. Add your website for ex: localhost/InnovatorServer to the list.
2. You could also try adding this website to your intranet site zone in Internet explorer.
Do let me know if this helps.
Regards,
Bali

Hi Bali,
I've tried both without success. Same result as before.

Hi Galderson,
Aras Innovator 9.3 does support IE 9. The details you have provided do not point to any known issue with compatibility.
I recommend viewing the self-help video "Aras Innovator PLM Software Installation Tutorial" located at www.aras.com/.../tutorials.aspx.
Best,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for the suggestion. I reviewed the tutorial and followed all installation steps again. While I confirmed all IE settings were correct, I ran the .NET configuration tool and was able to successfully login. I'm not sure why it would be the case, but perhaps running the .NET tool after IE settings changes (instead of beforehand as was the case my first time around) made the difference. Either way, I am up and running in IE 9. Thanks to everyone for the help.
