I looked over the documentation regarding how the ECR/ECN Workflow is supposed to operate and still cannot find a way to make it work at my end. The documentation shows a menu option that will convert an ECR into an ECN but this is not visible in my system.
What would be very nice to see is a throrough documentation of the Change Process Workflow. The documentation I have does not seem to be very thorough and I suspect I am missing some critical steps; it is also not clear how the review process works which I further suspect may play a part in my confusion.
So:
1.) How to process an ECR into an ECN and apply these to parts
2.) Is there better documentation of this process somewhere?

i took the training, it's the best documentation. you can try this though, i found it when i viewed some videos http://www.aras.com/university/Tutorials/Aras%20Corp%20-%20Tutorial%20-Change%20Process%20Scenario.pdf i think the process is still much the same in 9.3 though this documents says 8.0

Thanks for the link. It will probably help although I have made some progress as I have been investigating how the permissions management plays into the workflow.
Our goal is to determine if the software will meet our needs before we invest in training. So far it looks very good, so I probably will end up going for basic training as well as the developers training.
