Hi Community,
Finding the terms “version”, "versionable", “revision”, “Item Behavior”, “Float and Fixed” in a number of places while I am going through Aras. Those make me confused. Can anyone please help me with easiest words/examples?

Hi,
I would just say that the Aras documentation has some great content for that.
- You have everything about versioning on an Itemtype : Innovator Administration-> ItemTypes -> Versions -> About versions
- And regarding Float/fixed relationship behavior : Innovator Administration-> Relationships -> Modifying the relationship type (in the table there is a line for "Behavior")
I would be glad to answer more specific questions after that read.

Could you please help again? Actually I I want to disable a related item (child) tab for some certain conditions.
Suppose I have a text field in my "Manufacturer Part" form to write name of a substitute item. Again I have built a relationship with "Suppliers". Now I need to allow users either to take substitute item or to relate with some "Suppliers", but not both at a time. i.e. if user take a substitute item I have to disable the options to take any supplier and vice versa.
