I have gone through the process of creating an ECN to release some parts. The ECN is assigned to a member of the Engineering group. When the user attempts to update the activity voting to complete,nothing seems to happen.. There are no errors cast so I'm confused. The parts are still in the preliminary state. If The user tries to promote the part, there is an error that says he cant invoke the actions because it belongs to the ECN.

Never mind - the Engineering identity was not in the permissions list for In Work ECN.
