The first time I opened a method in my new Aras installation Internet explorer blocked the downloading of a .cab file. I believe it was for text editing, but I can't remember. I instructed IE to load the .cab file. I don't think it worked though. When I open a method from Aras the text area where the method code would be appears blank. Even if I create one, save it, then reopen. I know the text is there because I can do an export to Excel and see the text.
Any ideas on how to correct this?

First, please make sure you have reviewed the Aras Innovator Internet - Explorer Configuration Guide.
Also, please make sure that "Automatic Prompting for ActiveX Controls" is set to disabled. This is normally true for the trusted zone of Internet Explorer.
Then try to log in again and open a method.
