Hi Subbu,
The source for the Aras solutions is available on the Aras project site at http://www.aras.com/projects/ where you can get the OSI compliant source for our PLM solutions.
You can use, modify, extend and redistribute the source for all our solutions in these projects (need to use the license on that project of course), and if you make any cool enhancements we encourage you to contribute back – although that’s not required because we use mostly permissive licenses like BSD and Ms-PL (no contribution requirement).
The underlying Aras Innovator framework is distributed as a binary and the source is not freely available on that part of the architecture, for more info see http://www.aras.com/technology/open-source.aspx as well as an article upfrontezine at http://www.upfrontezine.com/2011/upf-708.htm
Best,
Jennifer
