DEVELOPERS FORUM - Standard search fails, when criteria is set on foreign property on relationship tab

Hi,

From the context of a relationship tab.

Is there a way to make standard search able to search using foreign properties?

I guess i could check the incoming AML request and customize the db query.... onBeforeGet on the REL Item ?
Is this the way to go?
