Hi,

I have installed Aras Innovator on my machine and in database section I have selected Existing database and configure options. But when I run the application I get an alert for "Please, contact your system administrator to review your .NET security settings." Anyone knows why I am getting this error and How can I solve it.

Hi Girish

Ensure that .NET 3.0 is enabled in your system and try again. In order to check this go to Start menu and type Turn Windows Features On and Off

Check whether -NET 3.0 is selected in that.

Thank You

Hi Abhishek

Greetings!!

Can you please confirm did you ran the SDNS.EXE file before opening ARAS.

Steps

  • Download the Manual .NET Security Config Tool [sdns.exe utility] in http://www.aras.com/support/downloads/
  • Close all windows in IE (If anything opened)
  • Run the SDNS.EXE as administrator (Right click and select Run as Administrator)

ARAS Supports .NET Framework 3.5 version irrespective of the SPs.

  • Go to Start and type turn windows features on or off and open Windows Features
  • Ensure that .NET Framework 3.5 is enabled (If not enable it)

Thanks
