Has anyone built or played with creating a BOM structure based off a list? The idea on this comes from our product number. The product number defines what will be attached to the BOM. I would like to create a tool that would allow our team to go to a template and choose a selection from a list. The list would contain the value of the part number. The part number would be assigned as Part BOM relationship to the Part. When the user would clicks the submit button, it would generate a new part number and assign the sub-BOMs. Any ideas on how I should approach this or has someone already done this? Thanks
