SUPPORT Q&A - Login problems with IE in Vista

thomas.hedberg - Thursday, May 22, 2008 7:12 PM:

Hello,

We are having trouble logging into Innovator with IE in Windows Vista.  We have no problems with IE 6 or 7 in Windows XP or Server 2003.  When we browse to the Innovator Server in Windows Vista we get a login screen with buttons that have no labels.  Also the labels are missing along the bottom of the login screen, but the version numbers are showing up.  When the login information is entered and the left button is clicked, nothing happens.  When the right button is clicked, the windows closes like it should.  Below is a screen grab of the login window.  Please assist.

Thank you,

Tom Hedberg, Jr.

Hello Tom.

Looks like Innovator scripts don't work on your Vista at all. Try to move your innovator site into trusted zone. Or check security settings for the current zone.

You can check your IE settings against the recommended setting in the Aras Innovator - Internet Explorer Client Machine Configuration document.

Hello,

I have the same trouble with Windows2008 Server.

I've no idea what I can do. Walked trough the installation guide and the IE7 back and forward.

Some ideas?

Thanks a lot
