Hi All,
I wanted to create a reverse lookup so one could go from the vendor part back to the manufacturer part. I modelled it on the same way that you can go from manufacturer part back to part using the ReverseItemsGrid script. I got this working (or so I thought) on on our live server. This server was mirrored to a beta server so at one point these two servers were identical.
Now, I discovered, that when I when I logged in as something other than admin, and I went to the "Manufacturer Part" tab on the vendor form, then the link to the manufacturer part was missing. I looked for differences between the Manufacturer Part to Part relationship, and the Vendor Part to Manufacturer Part relationship, but only found minor differences. I duplicated as much as I could find, and noted all the changes I made and it appears that one of those made the difference. The reverse lookup now works for regular users on the beta server. I repeated the changes on the live server, but the issue still remains that the link is not visible to a non-admin login. I'm sure it is possible that I failed to document some change, but what the difference is is not apparent.
Can anyone speculate on what would make the reverse lookup work for the admin, but not the regular users logging in? Thanks,

To further this, it appears that my initial assessment was completely off. It isn't anything to do with the scripts or the permissions, but the individual computer. The default reverse lookup between part and manufacturer part (when looking at a specific manufacturer part), has always worked for myself. I was assisting another user to learn the system, and this link was missing from them. I logged in as that user on my own machine and it works fine. I let the original user log back in on their machine and it isn't working. Ironically, the reverse lookup I was trying to resolve above works fine on their machine, and at the moment, both the manufacter part to part, and the vendor part to manufacturer links both work on my own machine.
