Hi,
I am a first time user and trying to install Aras 9.3.0 SP7 but during the installation the whole process rolls back and I cannot understand what is going wrong.
I have ensured the following are satisfied before installation and my OS is Windows Vista Home Premium
MS SQL server 2008 R2 installed
.NET framework 3.5 SP1 installed
IIS 7.0 available,
IE 9
Can anyone let me know what else I have to do for a successful installation? Is the version of Aras 9.3.0 SP7 not compatible with Windows VIsta Home premium?

I belive that operating system is your problem. Unfortunately, Windows Authentication component is only available on Windows Vista Professional or above, and it is not supported in Home or Starter editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. Please see the following article for a complete list of the IIS components (Role Services) available in the versions of Vista.
