What training should a developer take to learn Aras? Are there solid alternatives or additions to the training offered on the Aras University page of this website? Thank you in advance for any suggestions/help .

No real alternative to the training by aras.
Of course learing by doing and geting some advice by an expert works too.
Additional trainings are .Net, c# / javascript / vb, xml / xpath / xslt, sql.
Helpful may be a training in agile development, as aras and agile development work perfectly together.
