SUPPORT Q&A - Error Loading ui_resources.xml on Aras 9.3.0 install

I am hoping that someone in the community can provide some insight into this installation issue.  I think we are pretty close to completing our installation of Aras 9.3.0 however I am getting an error that I cannot figure out.
 
Here is a screen shot of what we are seeing when attempting log into the Aras application from an IE9 web browser (32-bit)
 

Our demo environment is a Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) server with SQL Express being used as the database
 
I have double checked that we have MSXML 4.0 sp 3 Parser installed
I was able to run the  SDNS utility without any issues
I have MS .net Framework 4.0 installed.
 

 
Any suggestions on what I might be missing or what else I should double check in the installation?

Hi,

I think this might be caused by IIS settings.

See this link: http://www.arascorp.comhttp://www.aras.com/Community/forums/p/348/7705.aspx to the same question some time ago.

It looks like it was solved by adding the Web Server role to IIS.

I am having the same issue.  I have gone over the install, IIS and .Net

Did this issue get resoved?  I sure could use a hand up.

Sorry I never was able to get the install to work properly.   Our company is also considering other products in the market.

Hi THopkins and ChipChop -

This error usually comes down to client settings. Verify msxml4 sp3, .net 3.5 SP1 are installed on the client.

Then double check IE settings, if its IE9 you must have compatibility view enabled with 9.3.0.
