DEVELOPERS FORUM - Drop down on Relationship Itemtype with no blank value

Hi,

I have added a 'List' datatype property on Relationship ItemType. I want this drop down to be without blank value. I just edited the Relationship Itemtype' s form by adding the field and checked 'List No Blank' , but still the drop down is having the blank value.

How can I remove the blank value form this drop down?

Hi,

Just Provide the default Value of the list property from Relationship Item Type definition.

Yeah that property is already having a default value, I have added that . But if the user wants to change the default value, he can choose from the drop down values where the blank also exists. 

For ex: default value for the property is 'New', the list values are 'New','Stage1'...'Finish' and the blank. User can select any of these except blank. Here I want to remove the blank from the drop down.

Hi Vasant,

If i want that no default blank value , on that case when i select value then automatically relevant value shows in another field. on that case user not need to go and dropdown on second field and choose.

Please suggest.
