Dear all,
Iam using ARAS innovator 9.3, and exploring the features.
I created a sub class in part called "CustomPart".
I created a property called Location that is applicable only to this custom part , done through specifying
the "Class Path" as "Custompart" in the property.
Now in order to make this appear in the form, I went to the Part form and expected the property "Location" to
appear in the "Unused Properties". Strangely its not showing up there.
It worked perfectly a week back.
Please help!

I had same problem some days ago and used a workaround:
1) Delete Custom Class from Item property
2) Add Property to form and save form (it will be shown within unused properties)
3) Redefine Custom Class within Item property
Sorry it is only a workaround - but for me it worked fine. Hopefully it will be fixed by Aras Support - so please send issue to [email protected] => They have to fix this issue.

Thank you for the response. The problem is technically now resolved as per your work around , but there is another problem due to this.
I get the following message in the UI - My custom Part is "INDPart" created as subclass in Part. That is displayed superimposed on the custom property (here i created
a custom property "Supplier part no" applicable only to INDpart subtype / sub class)
"Resource with key="'class_spec_field.Part_INDPart'" is not found".
However, Iam able to enter the values for the custom property in the UI and can save the part.
But I dont like the message in the UI. Did you also have this problem?
I have screen shots also, but unable to attach in this post.
