DEVELOPERS FORUM - How to get the project name inside the deliverable item?

Hi,

I have one ItemType called Scope, that instances(item) is used in many Projects. But i need the latest Project name should display in my Scope item grid.

Tell me how to approach, either relationship grid event or any easiest way is their to get.

Hello,

I think scenario 1) could be the best.

1) It should be solved when using "Float" for the rleation => then it will be automatically changed to the newest Version of your Item "Project"
2) Otherwise you can solve the Problem programmatically"
    Create a "Method" - on after create of a "Project", which will change the Projects within all relations (AML / SQL - depending how you would like to do rights management)

Be aware that you have to design some kind of "architecture" for the solution 2).

Hopefully I understand the problem - otherwise please send more details.
