DEVELOPERS FORUM - Error when using NASH to import - claims password cannot be empty when it is not empty

xgecko - Thursday, September 12, 2013 9:50 AM:

I am getting this error when I run NASH even though I have entered a username and password.  I am using the default admin user, is that prohibited for this operation?  If not, then why is it complaining when I did enter a password?  Please advise.

<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Body><SOAP-ENV:Fault><faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Server</faultcode><detail>Password to communicate with Innovator Server cannot be empty.</detail></SOAP-ENV:Fault></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

Hi xgecko,

Thank you for your post. The way to resolve this error is the little login button that hangs off to the side.

We understand the request for password can throw off the issue and that the login button is somewhat obscure.

Best,

Jennifer

Facepalm!

The error message said I did not enter my password which as you can see in the screen shot was not actually the problem.  The problem was that I had not hit the 'Login' button...

Now I am further along and the error has to do with a missing root element which I will have to track down...
