Hello All,
I want to specify a default search criteria.
For Ex: If I open part search, it should show me all the parts with the name Bolt. I have tried the following:
Open the Item Type. Put the value *Bolt* into "Default Search" column of the name property.
When I open the search dialog there is no default value in the blue criteria row for the property.
Please let me know if there are additional settings to be made. I have tried this on both 9.3 and 9.4.
Just to add, the search I am talking about is: If we expand Design folder in TOC, I see the node called Parts. When I click that node, the search grid which appears on the right is where I want to filter the items.
Also is there an option where I can hide this column? I mean, let us say I want to show the parts who's cost is greater than 50 dollars. User should not be able to change this.So when ever user clicks on part node for searching, it should show only parts who's cost is more than 50 dollars. (Cost is not the actual goal, its only an example).
