So I've tackled a bunch of issues and can now get the login window to open with Firefox. When I try to log in with the "admin" "innovator" I get an error message saying that permission was denied. Below is a screen shot showing the error with SQL manager and the InnovatorServerConfig.xml file behind it.

aviuradmin does not have the permission to run select on the table language on the database aviurplm.
did you modify the InnovatorServerConfig.xml manually? editing the db-connection for example.

I didn't really understand what was going on. I uninstalled Innovator and then reinstalled it leaving Innovator as the database login. It worked fine once I did that.
