Is it possible to automatically populate a word/excel document with metadata from Aras, during checkout/view?
For example using "field codes" in the header of a document, to "pull" information from Aras, such as document number, name, state and revision.
Example: using field code {Document property state} to pull the document state.
I have not studied the document handling in Aras yet, but as this is a central CM-feature, I assume that it is possible in any way.

If you Aras subscriber, there is "Office Connector" that you checkout Office documents with can map data from aras to document and back.
But again you need to be Subscriber

Yes, I just saw that there's a office connector, and that's a great feature.
The problem is that I need a temporary solution, in testing purposes.
