I am quite new to ARAS Innovator so please forgive me if I am missing some fairly obvious point.
When entering a Part, I am unable to set the Part's Type. When I click on "Type", a dialog box opens showing four choices, I wish to choose "Assembly" in my example but I experience the same problem with any choice there. After highlighting an item, such as "Assembly", I click on the green check mark, "Return Selected", but nothing happens. The PART record is not updated so the TYPE field remains blank.
I look forward to a fix for this important item.
