DEVELOPERS FORUM - Difference Between Save To ARAS and Check-In

santoshr0114 - Monday, December 15, 2014 11:50 PM:

Hello Guys,

I have seen many CAD Applications having two buttons, "One is Save To ARAS" and another is "Check-In".

If my understanding is correct:

"Save To ARAS" saves the CAD document/Model ARAS but keep it locked for editing.

"Check-In" saves the CAD document/Model to ARAS and unlocks and allows other users to work on the document

Correct me if i am wrong....!

Whats the difference between two ?
