Hi,
The "Products" group in the TOC does not allow products to be added in my installation. How can I change this to allow new products to be entered?
P.S. I looked at the "ECR - Read Only" thread to see if this would solve this issue, however, I cannot find a "New Product" entry in the Permissions group.
Any assistance would be appreciated...

Hi Chris -
In the default solution Products may only be added by members of the CM (Configuration Management) identity. The ability to add items is controlled via the Can Add tab of the ItemType definition. So, there's two way to fix this:
- Add your user to the CM identity
- Add a new Can Add record on the Product itemtype and relate an identity that your user belongs to

I added a valid user to the 'Can Add' tab of ItemType and that worked fine for me.
