I have configured some workflows with some activities having reminders configured. I have made sure that the expected duration > (Reminder interval * Reminder count). However, the system is not generating any reminder emails. Do I need to run something periodically to get this working? If yes, what is it that I need to do? You need to execute a method that will execute the reminders.
The easiest thing is to use the Aras Innovator Scheduler service to execute these methods on at a scheduled time, but you could do a similar behavior using a VB client and the Windows Scheduler.
Subscribers should reference the Aras Innovator 9.0.2 documentation for the settings with latest version of the tool.

Please download the "Automatic Workflow Reminders and Notifications" package from the Aras Projects page.

These Methods are intended to be run through an automated process like the Aras Innovator Scheduler Service, but could be attached to Actions in Aras Innovator and run manually.
If you do choose to run them manually, I recommend doing so during off hours. The recommended time for the scheduler to run these methods is around 12:30 AM, but could be any time when users are not generally in the system.
