I was wondering what can be the issue where a user cannot add a part. (right click only gives list all) .

Hi.

Part ItemType (go to Administration/ItemTypes) has Can Add (see Can Add tab) permissions for "All Employees" Identity by default. I suspect your user does not belong to that identity. Just login as admin, go to Administration/Identities, edit "All Employees" and add the user to this group.

Thank a lot, that worked i have added the user into the group.

In the ItemTypes there was not Part ItemType is that an issue?
