SUPPORT Q&A - Aras Installation on a single machine

I am trying to install Aras on a machine with following specs:

Windows XP, SP2, IE 6, .NET 2.0, IIS 5.1

I followed the instructions in the .NET client configuration document and the installation document, and was able to install successfully. On running the client I get the .NET configuration error. My IIS runs on port 8084 and on checking the xml files in the Innovator directory, I noticed it had used localhost/InnovatorServer instead of localhost:8084/InnovatorServer. Could this be the reason? What is the workaround?
