I am looking at the possible solution to launch the workflow for related items from the parent item at the parent's specific workflow state. Does anybody have examples or suggections.

Look at the item methods, "instantiateWorkflow" and "startWorkflow".

I do not see mentioned methods - probably looking at the wrong place. Are these the standard methods in the TOC?

I don't see them in the "Just Ask Innovator" help.
But if you open any Method and look at the Code Guide (on the right hand side), under Item Methods you should see both methods. If you select the method name, a description of the method will appear at the bottom of the screen.
