SUPPORT Q&A - Customize type and classification of a part

Hello,

this product seems very powerful.

I am looking for to Edit and Add new unit for a part. Is that possible ?

Also I want to add new classification in addtition to the Component, Assembly, Material and Software.

I don't find any clue in the documentation.

Hi Remi,

Unit of Measure is held as a List (See Administration | Lists).

Class Structure is edited through the Item Type.

Open the item type for edit then click the "Class Structure" button.

Right click in the panel area to open a context menu which will allow you to add/remove classifications.

You can add a new structure at any level in the tree.
