Hi All,
We have developed a workflow with 10 activities.. We have tested the workflow last week, that has worked fine.. From yesterday, whenever we tried to create an instance, it is giving the below error.
Anyone knows about this? Please help.. Its urgent for us.
Only a workflow map itemtype is giving this error, the other itemtypes are saving perfectly.
Regards,
Venu.

Did you try removing and Methods that run when the Workflow Process is created?
Did you try removing any email notification sent when the Workflow Process is created?

Yes, you are right..
Without notification mails, it is working..
But What might be the problem, the same thing(with notifications) has worked 2 days ago, I changed nothing but now it is giving error.
Please help on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Venu.

Best guesses...
1) Your email server might be rejecting the connection. Try switching to the IIS SMTP service.
2) Make sure all your Users have email addresses.
3) Try changing the email to a plain text email with no queried data.
I had a problem with our initial installation because our Exchange server was rejecting the connections fom the server's IP address. Different error though.

Thanks for the reply Andy,
I tried as you said, now we are not getting any errors, but we are not getting any mail also..
How you resolved that problem? Please give the information..
Thanks & Regards,
Venu.

You tried all 3 at once? Or just the first change did it?

Thanks for the help Andy,
I tried one by one at a time.
Finally we found that email server is rejecting the connection.
We resolved the issue by contacting our Mail server administrator for allowing connection.
Thanks & Regards,
Venu.
