We use workflows to control process for data collection, but every now an then someone makes the wrong choice in the Vote field (and this usually happens when the workflow is 80% complete). So, is there a way to 'reset' the workflow to a previous step so that all the triggers fire, etc. - this essentially is: can we have a do-over? We don't want to have to do the whole process all over again.
I have searched the fora and the blogs and the wikis but not found anything that addresses this.

If you are talking about ECNs, ECN Workflows cause a promote on the ECN Life Cycle. ECN Life Cycles cause a promote on the Document or Part Life Cycle. To undo it, you would need to put a new vote path on the Workflow that reset everything with ccorresponding loopback paths in the Life Cycles.
In terms of CM, I would think it would require finishing as is, and fast tracking the next change to fix what was done wrong.

Thanks for your reply, but I am not working with ECN or the rule set behind that process. I just need to be able to back up a step or two in a workflow to avoid a ton of repetitive, non-value added work so we can get the process flow right after an all-to-human oops.
