I added an Announcement ItemType and made a simple html/javascript page to display announcements to users when they log in. It works fine if they select it from the TOC, but I'm having trouble getting it to display automatically. I've added it to the StartingPage list and set it as a user's starting page, but when I log in as that user, it doesn't seem to do anything. The built in My Desktop and My Inbasket work fine. Is there a step I'm missing somewhere?
Edit: nevermind, it worked when I put it in the My Innovator group

It may have been more a cache issue? I tried to set "Document" as the starting page and it worked well.
