SUPPORT Q&A - New Install - Cannot Login: Page missing Labels for user/pwd or login button

Hello

I installed Aras PLM tool for evaluation purposes and am unable to get beyond the login screen. Do not see any label for user/pwd fields and text is missing from Login/Cancel buttons.

Checked all the pre-requisites as well as IE6 settings as recommended. Did not encounter any problems with the installation itself. Screenshot is included. Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Hi Nara N,

I had the same problem in the past. I resolved it by disabling the proxy in the IE settings.

Thanks for your reply and additional troubleshooting tips.

I confirmed that we don't use proxy settings at all. The IE settings were verified per documentation. I upgraded to MSXML 4.0 SP3 as well. Still no luck. These are the browser errors that are being generated:

1. The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

2. 'this.lomInnovator' is null or not an object

Any further troubleshooting tips are appreciated.
