Hi,
I am new to Aras PLM solution. I am evaluating this software for about 10 days, and so far the experience is very good. IE8 was a headache, but Firefox 3.5.7 plus IE table solved this issue very well. Many thanks to the solution contributor in this forum.
Now I am checking the difference between CMII process and Simplifed ECO process. But I don't know how to enable the Simplified ECO process. Could anyone give me a hint?

Hi Tom, and welcome. To switch to Simple CM just log on as an administrator and go to the the Actions menu. There is a selection labeled "Switch Simple CMM On-Off" that brings up a dialog allowing you to make the switch. All this does is change the visibility of the different change types.

It sounds like you're editing the Action item. You want to actually run the Action from the Actions menu (at the top of the screen). If you've edited the Action item already, set the Target back to "None" before running it from the menu.

Basically after I changed the target to "Main", I saw "Switch Simple CMM On-Off" command in "Action" menu. After I clicked it, it brought the window that allows me to turn on Simple ECO.
I don't know what will happend if I choose other values like "Window" or "One Window".
