DEVELOPERS FORUM - how to property name instead of id

Hi

Friends;

Below shown is image i am getting id but i want name of the item.

I have created two itemtype called student and teacher then in student item type. then I have created relationship called Teaches Then in Teaches Itemtype (isrelationship) i have added property called teacher (data type item data source teacher) so when I am creating object(item) of student and in tab Teaches I adding property of teacher by pressing f2 but it will showing me ID instead  of name of itemtype teacher

So please help me out how to get name of item in attribute insted of ID

Hi Savan,

                   Goto Teacher Itemtype. In properties tab,  there is a column called 'Keyed Name order'. Put 1 in that column against teacher property. You will get Name in place of ID.

thanks for your reply But i am still getting ID instead of name of item in property Even i have written 1 in 'Keyed Name order' in property tab

so can you please suggest me that i have to change in data base also or in itemtype

Hi Savan,

          Did you try creating a new item after Adding  'keyed name order' value. It should  work..
