APPLICATION - PRODUCT ENGINEERING - How should I prepare Multilevel BOM and How should I get 2-3 months cumulative requirement of Material ?

I have issue of no. of Multilevel BOM.

While developing the data in the software I came across two queries.

1. In the creation of BOM, when I am putting the data in the 'parts' the part no. when I enter it will show' Part no generation already exist'

Can any one show me how this error can be removed.?

2. Can anyone show me how should I prepare a BOM, which showing the Product with its parts and the BOM will preview forecasting of Material quantity?

Sachin,

You're answer is not really clear. You might want to add images/screenshots to clarify.

Regarding your second question - From the parts query window - select the top part -> right click it -> select Structure Browser.

Alternatively you could select the part and from the reports menu select the proper report to show material, quantity and descriptions.
