I'm new around here and I'm after a prod in the right direction...
I'm trying to set up permissions such that I can have:
A new document has permissions for the development group and the creator ( which is simple to do ).
Once the document is created I would like selected 'users' who will be in other identities to be able to discover and get the document. I also need to be able to revoke that permission. The 'users' may well be different for each document so I don't think I can manage a set of identities ( and I don't think that would work anyway as I only seem to be able to set permissions on the item type.) I think I've figured out how to then turn on the history to record who has looked at the document.
I assumed that setting the 'Allow Private Permissions' would allow this but I don't able to set and private permissions?
I have seen a post that talks about permissions on class changing with lifecyle but I don't think that would work either.
Help.
So far this seems to be an excellent tool. Just struggling a bit getting my head round it all !
