DEVELOPERS FORUM - Manufacturer Part Number Search

Hi,

 

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

I have created a part with Part Number W-0001 and i have also add a Manufacturer part TMS470 in AML for W-0001.
In search, if i know the part number W-0001, i can find out the manufacturer part associated with that part number.
But if i know only the manufacturer Part number TMS470 and now i want to find the part number whether it belongs to W-0001 or some other part. Please let me know how can I search part number from the associated with that manufacturer part number.

Hi Samiyac,

The default search regarding MFG part numbers is not all that good.

There is a community solution called AVL - AML Tools which is better at helping to show what parts are related to a manufacturer part.

Have a look at that. It may answer your question.

If you don't know how to download and install the community solutions have a look at the Package Import/Export solution which is a tool to help you manage this. It has instructions on using it.
