Converting Excel file to pdf

Do you need to do this within Aras? Excel can convert its own files to .pdf files, and you could add the resultant .pdf where you need it to go.

If you're a subscriber, then Office Connector is available and would do this quite easily. When saving Excel files to Aras, a .pdf version is automatically created and added alongside the Excel file and can even be viewed within Aras Innovator. I just checked to confirm, and multiple sheets get handled without any extra work, each appearing as an additional page of the .pdf.

Without Office Connector, I'd look at using VB's workbook or making an ActiveXObject in JavaScript, though the novel bit is going to involve moving the file between the server and the vault.
