How to include .tiff files for visual markup

We are running Version 11 SP10 and have Secure Social enabled for some item types.  One in particular we would like to display .pdf and .tif/.tiff files for mark up.  I am able to get the .pdf to display, however, the .tiff will not.  I have modified the file selector template to only include the ID's for the file types but still no luck.  Any suggestions/tips on this?  Thanks in advance.     Thanks, Chris.  I was able to resolve this yesterday.  The issue, as I think you pointed out above, is that I was adding my file filter to the custom item type.  I needed to add it to the type I was pulling back (Document).  As soon as I added the ID of the .tif/.tiff the file(s) appeared as expected. Not sure if there is a way for me to "close" this post but my issue is resolved.  Thanks again!
