insert to category (table)

Hallo I made an input form and button into a category (example) and I made another category means result. category result contains 2 fields, first field is called number and second is called (doubled number). How can I make this job? When the button is pressed , the number entered is doubled and stored in Category Result in field (doubled number). Best regards
