Aras Technical Documentation - built on the Aras Innovator platform - is a web-based content authoring and publishing tool that takes a new and innovative approach to the creation of technical publications. This solution is built on core PLM (product lifecycle management) functionality which enables data reuse and facilitates change management - improving the accuracy of technical publications.
Aras worked in partnership with Orio AB (formerly Saab Original Parts AB) to develop the Technical Documentation solution. The web-based solution allows many publications to share the same source information in a modular fashion – eliminating data duplication. Document authoring is managed using templates which ensure publications conform to regulatory requirements, industry standards and corporate formatting.
