Customize Bills of Materials (BOM)

Hello, 

I need to make a new BOM form where the BOM level is only 1  and I need to remove some of the columns that appear in the default BOM form. 

Also, need to add a logo to the form. 

Super new to Aras, therefore, if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great. I need to know which topic in the Aras documentation to look for. If someone can provide birds-eye-view of the whole process that would be great.

    Hello,

    Below is a screenshot of the default Part form with the BOM relationship below. It's worth noting that the BOM relationship on part only goes one level, while the bom structure tab shows all levels of the BOM.

    If you'd like to change the top part, the Part form, log in as admin and use the Table of Contents (TOC) to go to administration > form> search for Part. If you're looking to modify the grid in the relationship (bottom part of the screenshot), you can modify the BOM itemtype itself. To remove a column from the grid, open up the itemtype and set hidden2 to true on the properties you'd like to hide.
